The most talented actress Manisha Koirala will be seen again on the big screens by the end of 2017 in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.

She will be seen playing Ranbir Kapoor’s mom and we are damn excited to see the lady yet gain spread her magic on screen. This woman has an inspiring journey and after battling and winning cancer, she is back with a bang. The 46-year-old actor, who took a hiatus from films after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, is all set to bounce back after 5 years. Her resilience against cancer was one of the main reasons for her casting, revealed director Rajkumar Hirani.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Rajkumar Hirani said, “We were thinking of many actresses. And while Manisha is really pretty and a fantastic actress, my primary reason for taking her is that she’s a cancer survivor and, having been through the journey herself, can identify with Nargisji’s fight with cancer. When we met, she told me a little about that journey.”

Her last notable Bollywood film was Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Bhoot Returns’ which had released in 2012. She returned to the silver screen with the bilingual film ‘Oru Melliya Kodu/Game’, which released in 2016. Manisha and Sanjay Dutt have romanced on screen in movies like Kartoos, Khauff, Yalgaar among others.

Director Rajkumar Hirani has directed films like pk, 3 idiots, Munna Bhai MBBS, is maintaining low profile these days, and now is giving all his precious time and focusing on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic.

Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Sanjay Dutt, Anushka Sharma will also be seen playing the role of a journalist in the movie and Sonam Kapoor will play one of the women Sanjay has fallen in love with. Diya Mirza will play Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata and Paresh Rawal is to play the role of Sunil Dutt.

The shooting of the film has already begun; RK has left everyone stunned with his jaw-dropping transformation. The actor has put on 13 kgs weight and his recent appearance show is beefed up BOD. Indeed RK is leaving no stone unturned for Dutt’s biopic; the actor also admits that it’s the most challenging role in his career. But we are sure RK will impress us yet again because he is a fabulous actor and nobody can take that from him.

We wish the biopic of Sanjay Dutt hits the cinemas as a blockbuster.
